Igniting the Fire: Graduate Success Stories – Alyssa Easdown

Since graduating, AIF Warrior, Alyssa Easdown has set the health and wellness space alight. With a passion for motivating, inspiring and educating people on the importance of moving their bodies, Alyssa works as a trainer at Fitstop Nundah and is a certified sleep consultant. In both 2022 and 2023, Fitstop Nundah was recognised as the Courier Mail’s Best Gym in Nundah, which stands as a testament to Alyssa’s unwavering commitment to being part of a community that helps others achieve their fitness goals.

Alyssa’s journey into the health and wellness space began at AIF. When asked why she chose to study with the #1 fitness educator, Alyssa’s answer was simple. Her values aligned, the course provided sufficient 1-on-1 learning opportunities, and it was affordable. Enrolling into the Master Trainer Program™, Alyssa completed THE most recognised fitness qualification in the industry which equipped her for success.

With regards to her learning experience, Alyssa stated that it was “nothing short of amazing”. In particular, she boosted about the flexibility, the networking opportunities and the support she received from her coaches. Alyssa reminisced that “you create such a tight knit friendship” with your peers when studying at the AIF. In addition to this, Alyssa mentioned she has “friends that I’ve met through the course” who she is “still friends with to this day”. This demonstrates AIF’s commitment to creating the BEST community for our Warriors whilst studying, and past graduation.

Alyssa also noted that “the educators are absolutely incredible”. At the AIF, our expert course Coaches are committed to providing quality fitness education in fun and engaging ways. With years of experience, our Coaches are eager to share their knowledge and passion for fitness and massage with the next generation of practitioners, which is why students regularly score their course experience at over 9 out of 10.

Once completing her course, Alyssa delved head first into the industry, working out of a small commercial gym. Throughout her career, Alyssa has held roles in group exercise, personal training and management and sales. Her industry experience and personal development has led to her current role, as a trainer at Fitstop Nundah which Alyssa has held for 4 years. Alyssa beams when discussing the Fitstop Nundah community stating she is “a better person, a better coach, a better mum” thanks to her connections here.

For those considering a career in fitness, Alyssa offers the following advice:

When choosing an education provider Alyssa suggests to ask the following questions:

  • Do you have the same values?
  • Is there enough 1-on-1 education available?
  • Is it affordable?

She also states “if fitness is in your blood and you want to inspire, motivate, and you want to genuinely help people move their bodies, then definitely sign up to AIF cause these educators give you the tools to do that”.
