Three steps, then you're done

You pass on a name. Our Careers Team handles the follow-up, the course advice and the enrolment.

Step 01

Submit their details

Fill in the referral form with your details and theirs. It takes about a minute, and it's the only way a referral gets tracked back to you.

Step 02

We take it from here

A Careers Consultant contacts them, works out the right qualification for their goals, and applies your referral discount to their course fee.

Step 03

You get paid

Once they've enrolled and passed the cooling-off period, your eGift Card lands in your inbox. Refer again as often as you like.

What You Earn

Two ways to be rewarded

Anyone can refer. If you work at an AIF Industry Partner site, you earn at the higher rate set out in your partner agreement.

Questions

Before you refer

Who can make a referral?

Anyone. Current AIF students, graduates, personal trainers, gym staff and members of the public are all eligible. Staff at AIF Industry Partner sites earn at the higher rate set in their partner agreement. Club owners, campus directors and their partners aren't eligible.

When do I get my eGift Card?

After the person you referred has enrolled and their cooling-off period has passed — the point at which they're liable for the full course fee. We'll email the card to the address you gave on the referral form.

Is there a limit on how many people I can refer?

No. Every eligible referral who enrols earns you a card.

What does the person I refer get?

A discount off their course fee, plus a call from a Careers Consultant who'll walk them through the qualification options, payment plans and entry requirements.

I already mentioned someone to AIF. Do I still need the form?

Yes. A referral is only tracked to you if it comes through this form, so submit it even if you've spoken to someone at AIF already. Referrals can't be paid on people who are existing leads or previous students.

How do I become an AIF Industry Partner?

Call 1300 669 669 or head to our Industry Partners page. Partner sites earn at a higher referral rate and their students receive a larger course discount.

Refer & Earn terms and conditions

Referrals must meet the requirements below and be approved by the Australian Institute of Fitness to be eligible for a Prezzee eGift Card. Anything falling outside these conditions requires special approval from AIF.

Eligibility — AIF Industry Partner staff

  • The eGift Card value is the amount stated in that partner's AIF Industry Partner Agreement.
  • The referred student's discount is the amount stated in that same agreement.
  • The referral must enrol in an eligible AIF qualification and must have come through this Refer & Earn form.
  • The referrer must be employed by an approved AIF Industry Partner. Partner status covers all current employees of that business, excluding owners, campus directors and their partners.

Eligibility — non-partner referrers

  • The eGift Card value is $100.
  • No student discount applies to non-partner referrals.
  • The referral must enrol in a Certificate III in Fitness or Certificate IV in Fitness and must have come through this Refer & Earn form.
  • To earn at the partner rate on future referrals, register as an approved AIF referral partner.

Exclusions

No referral payment is made where:

  • The student was already a lead, a previous student, or had enquired within 60 days of a previous enquiry.
  • The student enrolled under industry, corporate or staff pricing, or received any additional discount.
  • The referral form was submitted more than three months after the student's official enrolment date.
  • The referrer is a business owner, campus director or their partner.
  • The referral relates to an existing student upgrading their enrolment.
  • The lead was generated through a recruitment campaign or paid job-board channel.
  • The referral was not submitted through this Refer & Earn form.

Payment

  • Discounts and eligibility are based on the fee-for-service pricing current in the month of enrolment.
  • Payment is made only after the student's cooling-off period, once they are liable for the full course fee.
  • Payment is issued as a Prezzee eGift Card to the email address supplied on the referral form.
  • A discount outside the approved amount for that month cannot be applied to a referred course.

General

  • AIF may change the referral process and eligibility requirements at any time.
  • All conditions are subject to AIF approval where reasonable and in support of the business and industry relationship.
