iMuscle is an app used to identify a body part or individual muscle; useful if you’re studying or have an interest in
fitness, exercise science, or anatomy. Angelo Peghini, Australian Institute of Fitness WA Massage and Fitness Coach, reviews the app.
What is It?
iMuscle works by zooming into a three dimensional human body to identify a body part of muscle. With the musculature exposed, you can then access hundreds of exercises associated with the muscle selected. It has been designed for the professional
Personal Trainer or fitness professional, and the fitness novice.
How Does it Work?
Just choose and pin an individual muscle on the 3D model or choose from the drop down list for a bob to open with a representation of exercises for that area. Selecting the exercise then expands into an information box that has an animated GIF of the exercise and some alternatives as well as a picture of all muscles used. The exercises can be saved into a workout along with progressions, e.g. sets, reps, and kg.
