New Era for AIF

The Australian Institute of Fitness (AIF), Australia’s largest fitness provider has been acquired by Clean Health, the trusted source of fitness education for personal trainers globally.

The acquisition of AIF, will propel Clean Health to new heights, reinforcing its commitment to advancing AIF’s legacy while solidifying its mission to educate over 1 million fitness professionals by 2028. This endeavour will have a profound impact on the health and wellness of tens of millions of their clients worldwide.

“Since 1979, AIF has been the original market leader in personal trainer education in Australia, educating over 100,000 students in personal training and massage qualifications over the last 45 years,” said Daine McDonald, Founder, Co-CEO and Chairman of Clean Health.

“AIF’s qualifications in personal training and massage are designed to help people start and launch their new careers. When combined with Clean Health’s globally recognised continuing education programs in nutrition, fitness business, and advanced program design, they will allow us to create a new era of world-class personal trainers and nutritionists.”

Nouri Groom, the CEO of the AIF will transition to the pivotal role of CFO for the broader Clean Health Group following the acquisition, said: “Daine, Lauren, and the Clean Health team represent the perfect acquirers for AIF, as fitness professionals themselves; they get the industry, and I am excited to take the AIF brand and products to a new generation of personal trainers worldwide.”

Under Clean Health’s ownership, AIF will continue to operate as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO ID:121508), ensuring the provision of quality education to our students. Furthermore, we are now in a position to enhance our offerings by providing additional industry connections and opportunities both domestically and internationally, leveraging Clean Health’s status as the third-largest fitness education provider globally.
